Design Matters
We believe there are four key design elements, that if balanced correctly, will mature your home design into a space you will love living in.
X4 Designs
Function
First, we establish the building blocks of the house. We explore how many bedrooms and bathrooms you need. Do you want a large great room with a vaulted ceiling or hidden pantry. We are attentive to every detail and adjust until there is a natural, intuitive flow throughout the home.
Asthetic
What do you want your house to become? A modern design with flat roofs and big panes of glass that maximizes light; or, a farm-style with tall gables and large open spaces. We take the key attributes from your dream home styles and develop a plan that embodies your lifestyle.
Budget
We want your home to be a source of pride, but not at the expense of your finances. We are passionate about creating a home that you can afford to build.
Structure
A good designer can build a beautiful house, but a great designer can build the same home for less. We thrive on putting complicated design pieces together in a way that makes both aesthetic and functional sense, while keeping the structure in mind.

"100% client focused! You helped transfer our vision to paper down to the smallest of details...even incorporating back-of-the-napkin sketches into CAD results! Your 3D final renderings were spot-on what we had envisioned. We very much appreciated your recommendations, diligent partnership and your dedication to getting the right results for us!"

"It sounds cliche, but Bryan was integral in making our dream home a reality. He patiently and professionally sorted through all our “wants and needs” until we had a beautiful home design that is perfect for us. We are living in our home now and we are grateful everyday for his expertise and creativity."

Meet Bryan Nyhof
Bryan’s passion for design and construction began early. With a father who built custom homes and a mother who worked as an interior designer, he grew up surrounded by creativity and craftsmanship. Watching his parents blend structure with style sparked a fascination that never left him.

By the age of 20, Bryan was already running his own framing business, gaining firsthand experience in the building process from the ground up. That early start gave him not only technical skill but also an appreciation for the balance between design and function.

Over the years, Bryan’s unrelenting curiosity and dedication have shaped a strong design sensibility and a deep understanding of how homes come together—from the first sketch on paper to the final detail that makes a space feel complete. His background allows him to see both the big picture and the small touches, bringing thoughtfulness and craftsmanship to every project.
